Uniquely rare and very real "Detroit Iron"! When is the last time you've seen one of these beauties? With only 2,897 produced, most likely we know the answer :-). During the 1932 model year, Desoto fell mid range between the lower priced Plymouth and the more expensive Chrysler models... During this time, Desoto had been in production only 4 short years but they were ahead of the design curve in many aspects which included a "Floating Power" rubber mounted 211 cubic inch 75HP straight 6 engine, hydraulic brakes and a sleek new modern suicide door body style along with a stunning racing inspired grill assembly, standard chrome headlamps, split "look" windshield and more... Part of a large collection, this wonderfully "rock solid" example presents itself on what appears to be an older cosmetic restoration that has been quietly resting for several years. It started, shifted and drove during our documentation (see video) and some tinkering/repairs should be expected. This is truly "Well Preserved Detroit Iron" and very rare with absolutely no excuses, try finding another...
