1978 Datsun Z-Series Coupe Additional Info:

1978 280Z, -speed manual, ith extra 5-speed transmission. Silver with black interior. Car has been parked, overed, orked on off and on for many years.
Have spent thousands on new parts over the years, ncluding (but not limited to): many new body seals, ew or good condition emblems, ew ignition & lock set, ew seat foam and seat covers (not stock covers), ew urethane bushing kit still in box, ew Mallory Unilite Distributor (paid $389 in 2010), ross drilled slotted brake rotors ($219), tainless steel brake line kit ($69.95), ahagony GT Steering Wheel Kit ($219.95) new still in box. All glass in excellent shape. New console lid. New exterior door metal trim seal. Most if not all parts ordered from Motorsport Auto, r Nissan.
I have had this car for many years yet never driven it more than 10 miles. Purchased and immediately started disassembling to re-store and planned to fully restore. Then lost interest, an out of time and patience. Kept purchasing new parts over the years knowing what the car needed. I believe all it really needs is top end engine work, aybe fuel pump, ild body work (typical z rust), aint, arpet pads, ew carpet, nd re-assembly. It is like one huge puzzle. Would be great for anyone who loves this type of car and has time.
You will need to rent U-haul "tow-dolly" to pull car, hen bring truck to carry all parts home in.
