THIS IS #SPL-27500, ONE OF THE VERY LAST ROADSTERS
PRODUCED BY NISSAN BEFORE THE 240Z STARTED
ROLLING OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE.
THIS CAR HAS BEEN 100% RESTORED SHORT OF FRAME-OFF.
THE FRONT FENDERS, R/R FENDER ARE DATSUN NEW,
THE L/R FENDER, TRANSVERSE PANEL, REAR PANEL, AND
TRUNK FLOOR WERE RUST-FREE USED PIECES, SANDBLASTED
AND PREPPED BEFORE INSTALLATION. ALL SHEET METAL
INCLUDING HOOD, TRUNK, AND DOOR INSIDES WERE
UNDERCOATED BEFORE INSTALLATION. GAS TANK WAS CLEANED
AND PAINTED WITH MARINE EPOXY. ALL MOUNTING SCREWS
AND BOLTS ON THE CAR ARE SS. THE HEADLIGHT BUCKETS WERE STRIPPED
AND PAINTED. THE INNER FRONT FENDER APRONS WERE
REPLACED WITH FABRICATED EXACT COPIES OF ORIGINAL PANELS.
THE FOLLOWING ARE ALL NEW:
ALL EXTERIOR LIGHTS AND BEZELS, ALL EMBLEMS AND TRIM PIECES.
THE SIDE MOLDINGS ARE AFTERMARKET. ALL THE EXTERIOR CHROME
PIECES ARE NEW RECHROME. THE SOFT TOP STUDS AND WASHER NOZZLES
ARE NEW SS.
THE DOOR LOCKS AND LATCHES WERE RESTORED, AND THE DOOR HANDLES ARE NEW.
THE BODY WAS PROFESIONALLY REWORKED TO PERFECTION
AND PAINTED PEARL SAPHIRE METALLIC IN A 5 COAT PAINT JOB.
THE HOOD, TRUNK LID, DOOR JAMS AND INNER DOOR SHEET METAL
ARE PAINTED ALSO. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND TRUNK WERE
CLEANED AND PAINTED. THE WINDSHIELD AND GASKET ARE NEW
AND CUSTOM TINTED. THE SIDE GLASS WAS BUFFED TO NEW
FINISH AND CUSTOM WI8NDOW SEALS MADE. THE FRONT WING GLASS
SEALS ARE NEW NISSAN. THE SIDE MIRRORS ARE SS-VERY HIGH QUALITY.
THE INTERIOR FLOOR HAS BEEN STRIPPED,UNDERCOATED,
AND COVERED WITH SOUND DEADENER PANELS. THE CARPET,
DASH PANEL, AND INTERIOR PANELS ARE NEW, THE SEATS ARE
CUSTOM REUPHOLSTERED WITH CORRECT PATTERN OF ORIGINALS.
THE INTERIOR TRIM BOLSTERS ARE CUSTOM RECOVERED WITH NICE
CRUSHED MATERIAL. VISORS ARE NEW. ALL INNER TRIM PANELS
ARE NEW. THE KICK PANELS HAVE NICE COURTESY BEZELLED LIGHTS.
ALL INTERIOR PIECES ARE MOUNTED WITH SS SCREWS AND TRIM WASHERS.
THE CONSOLE WAS STRIPPED AND REBUILT TO NEW CONDITION.
ALL GUAGES, SWITCHES, AND LIGHTS (INCLUDING MAP LIGHT) WORK PERFECTLY.
THE HEATER WAS RESTORED TO BETTER THAN NEW AND THE HEATER CABLE
SYSTEM WAS REBUILT. THE HORNS ARE CUSTOM AND VERY LOUD.
THE ENGINE HAS BEEN RE-SEALED, STRIPPED AND PAINTED.
THE ENGINE HAS HAS ELECTRONIC IGNITION AND THE CARBS ARE TUNED
PERFECTLY. IT HAS NEW 3 CORE ALUMINUM RADIATOR WITH
THERMOSTATIC FAN. ENGINE COMPARTMENT, DASH, AND TRUNK
WIRING IS NEW. THE CUSTOM HEADLIGHT SYSTEM HAS HID LAMPS
WITH RELAY CONTROLLED POWER. THROTTLE AND CHOKE
CABLES ARE NEW.
THE CHASSIS FRONT SUSPENSION IS ALL NEW, THE SHOCKS ARE
KYB GAS-ADJUST. THE BRAKES ARE VERY GOOD, MASTER CYL IS NEW,
AND CALIPERS REBUILT. THE TIRES ARE NEW, AND CUSTOM BULLET
CENTER RIMS MATCH OUTSIDE MIRRORS, AND ARE VERY NICE.
THE TRANS IS 5 SPEED, THE CLUTCH IS NEW AND THE PEDAL SYSTEM
REBUILT.
