1978 Datsun 280 C Additional Info:

This 1978 Datsun 280 C is a gem for any vintage car lover. Its stunning green color catches the eye, and its clean title and low mileage of only 75000 make it a great investment. The car has been owned for 2 years and is mainly used for weekend drives, running smoothly and providing a joyful driving experience. Its timeless design and great condition make it a perfect addition to any collection. This thing slaps. If you always dreamt of having a late 60s Charger and can’t swing the six figures for one or don’t have 50 feet of garage space this lil’ one is for you.

Vehicle Details

You will never find another one like this. You will definitely be the only one at ANY car show with this car. This is possibly the only one in the US right now.

The 280C was the export version of the Cedric/Gloria. I imported this car from Colombia where there were only 3 imported into the country for 1978. The KPL330 chassis as far as my research indicates was only sent to Colombia. Now, in Japan you can get right hand drive, manual sedans of the same year for about 28k but you won’t find any coupes. In NZ and Australia you can find coupes but they’re all automatic and of course right-hand drive. The 280C was the cream of the crop for Datsun too. This has factory A/C (blows, not cold) and a tapedeck! It has original paint and it shows, it’s thin in some spots but it shined up wonderfully after doing two passes of compound, one polish and a wax.

What does it need?

-Could use an alignment. Tires have less than 20 miles on them.

-Some rust is starting to bubble in the usual spots, no holes though and floorpan and trunk are solid.

-Valve stem seals. I just received a new set and may be installing them shortly.

-A new home!!

Fly in and drive it home! I will post more photos with the new wheels this weekend.
