1972 Datsun Z-Series Additional Info:

1972 Datsun 240z. State of Washington car - original, solid, far less than average rust. No sheet metal needs replacing - passenger side floorpan done last restoration, driver's side is up to buyer's inclination/ opinion. New parts recently installed - ignition coil + resistor, clutch master and slave cylinders, fuel pump, battery, oil pressure sending unit, plugs and wires, gas tank sending unit, air and fuel filters, all rubber fuel lines, accelerator linkage boot, and distributor capacitor. Parts repaired - throttle linkages, radiator w/ new cap, fuel tank and vapor hoses, rebuilt rear drum brake cylinders, rebuilt front disc brake calipers, valve cover removed/ cleaned/ buffed, semi restored front & rear bumpers ( missing rubber edge strips ) and front grille. Fresh oil and filter, fresh man. trans fluid, fresh rear axle fluid. Temp guage, voltage/ amp guage, oil pressure guage all work. Fuel guage and clock currently don't function. The radio is missing. This is a super solid restoration project to be finished by the next Datsun enthusiast/ owner. What it still needs - complete dual SU carb tune up, distributor/ points dialed in, tackle intermittent fuel vapor lock issues. When not vapor locked ( affects starting only ), once warmed up, this Z purrs like a kitten and runs like a million bucks. Cosmetic body issues are not major and the car will eventually need repainting. Title in hand. Questions welcome. $500 deposit due within first 24 hours, balance by cashiers check due within 7 days.
