1973 Datsun Z-Series Additional Info:
1973 240ZI purchased the car about 10 years ago from an an estate in NY.
The car had been off the road and stored in a garage since 1976 if i remember
correctly. The car was rust free, ut there were plenty of small dings and the paint was very faded.
I decided to have the car media blasted. The car was epoxy printed then resprayed with the original color. We used a modern base coat, lear coat system. The car was wet sanded then buffed.
All the glass was removed before the repaint. The larger '73 bumpers were replaced with a new euro front bumper an 72 rear.
The motor is completely stock with the addition of Z therapy carbs which replaced the problematic '73 pieces.
The suspension has been totally rebuilt with Energy Suspension bushing front and rear. New tie ends and ball joints were used as well. I used Tokico Blue struts and Arizona Z car Springs front and rear. The wheels are 17" Konig Mesh with
Falken Azenis tiress.
The interior is white and the dash has no cracks. Currently there are Sparco Milano seats in the car, ut I do have the stockers as well (Drivers side bolster is torn).
The odometer shows 40K miles.
