You are bidding on a Very Rare Series 1 1970 Datsun 240z. This is a true Barn find. My brother tired to buy this car for many years. Finally he got my chance and was planning on restoring it. Yet due to a Cancer scare my brother has come to realize that he is not going to be able to do it. This car comes with a clean Oregon title. Please take a look at the pictures below. I am happy to help assist in out of state or overseas shipping if needed. Please let me know if you have any questions.
This is a classic well preserved 1970 Original Series 1 240Z.
An extremely rare, very collectible early Z….
History: This car is a Barn Find from Oregon. It was stored parked along side another 240z in a garage since 1992. Tags read 1993, but we have new tags! Two years ago the previous owner decided to finally part with the Z. We started putting it back into running condition immediately. Then came the Cancer scare and which halted the process.
Exterior: Safari Gold aka Mustard #920. Very Rare color '70-Aug '71 only. Please take a look at photos to check out the condition.
Original Vintage American Racing Libre 14" wheels and Ohitsu 185/60-14 tires.
Interior: The interior on this car is original black interior, clean and presentable. The dash is in excellent shape. Carpets are there. The gauges work. Aftermarket stereo. Blinkers do not work.
The seats are in good original shape as is the headliner.
Spare tire area is nice as shown in picture. Even has the Original Rim stamped 6/70.
Engine/Transmission: This car starts right up and has been very reliable.
It is a driving car. The transmission shifts good.
New Battery, Tune up parts, oil sending unit, starter, complete brake job, master cylinders, complete exhaust system, and more.....
We also cleaned it up ourselves.
Overall: This is a great chance to get into an early VIN 240z. This car is a good driver and should last for many more years. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
This Rare 240z is not a concours car or a museum piece but has a ton the potential. It is an almost 50 year old Series 1 240Z ! The car looks good and runs. You just don’t find them like this……a true collector car with values quickly rising. Could be a Great weekend cruiser, a Nice addition to any collection or a perfect candidate for complete restoration!
Thanks for viewing!!!

I’m sorry I can’t take any photos and have no other information or documentation on this vehicle other than what is posted.. Unfortunately the car is locked up in my Brother shop in Oregon and I’m in California. I’m just selling it for him. Please view the pictures on the posting that were taken Sunday. I noticed some rust bubbles which can be seen in photos. Surface rust on top of right fender as seen in photos. Hatch area was good. Spare tire area is good. Floor boards good. Battery area good. This was a Barn Find. No information or documentation was available or is available. Again this is a barn find. It’s not a show car or a museum car, but A good candidate for restoration. Keep in mind the car is almost 50 years old. Car is being sold As Is and As Shown in Pictures. So please blow up the pictures and carefully view the car before bidding!
