1969 Datsun Roadster Additional Info:

For Sale. 1969 Datsun Roadster.

This car has matching engine and vin. This car is cosmetically restored.Car wasstripped down to baremetal and 2 stagepaintedBritish Racing Green (BRG) and the body is Straight with no rust. Please note there are 2 small scratches on the lower right side of quarter panel. They are not deep scratches but are there and did not go down to metal.

All of the chrome on the car restored

Bumper stops have been removed, elded and re-chromed.

Body side molding re-chromed

Interior dash pad coverhas been replaced.

Glove box and fuse box replaced.

New carpeting, oor panels and rear panels and vinyl work done.

Momo steering wheel installed (yes the horn works) and yes I have the original steering wheel but why would you want it.

Convertible topis brand new and frame refreshed works perfectly. Convertible top hold downs are all new also.

Aluminum Trim on each door and sills arewrinkle finished and looks amazing.

Windows rollup and down perfectly

All Rubber is new on doors, indows, runk, ront windshield All rubber seals new

Sun visors are new but not installed on the car. I will install them.

Taillight lenses original but the chrome assemblies areNOS and look amazing. Brake lights and tail lights work perfectly.

Brake pads front and rear new. rear wheel cylinders are new.

All front lugs are replaced and are long. I have not cut them down. I like the look so I haven't changed it. if you want to cut them great. I have the caps to cover the studs and will be included with sale of car..

Front grill is re-chromed

Datsun emblems are new

Fresh tune up, il and filter change, nd valve adjustment, ir filter

In Los Angeles, ngine starts on the first crank and is a hell of a lot of fun to drive. I drive it on the freeway at 75 to 80mph and it drives great.

Gauges all work and dash lights work too.

All fluids fresh.

What doesn’t work

Windshield washer are not connected. I am not planning on connecting them but do have thepump.

AM Radio is not connected nor does it have a speaker the wires are there though.

The Heater doesn't work. It needs a heater valve. Vents and fan work great

The previous owner rebuilt the engine and the car sat for 4 years before I got my hands on the car. The engine doesn't smoke, nd accelerates very nicely and shifts smoothly.

Please ask lots ofquestions. I will say this is not a perfect vehicle nor is it a modern vehicle. It's 47 years old. But it drives incredibly well. It's comfortable, ounds like a roadsterand people will definitely will be stopping you on the road and tell them about when they owned one and what they did in it. I am selling this one because I have more than one and it's time for another Datsun lover to really enjoy the car.
