Citroen 2CV6 Special in Los Angeles

1961 Citroën 2CV6 Special Additional Info:

This beautiful Citroen 2CV6 Special is titled in Californiaand located in Los Angeles. I purchased this Deux Chevaux in 2011 from a Seller in Georgia.He previously purchased it out of an Estate in New York.

It was imported to the US at an unknown date from France.I kept the original French license plates on the car. The Title states that this is a 1961–but that is clearly incorrect. I believe that it is actually from some unknown date in the 1970’s or early 1980s. It has a good running 602cc engine with a 4 speed manual transmission.Left hand drive.

While the 2CV was in good running condition when we bought it, we did a complete frame off restoration in 2015 starting with a new galvanized frame. New paint throughout which is still in great condition with very minor issues. New shocks, new side mirrors, new folding blue soft top, new clutch cable and assembly, authentic luggage rack and much more.I have most receipts from all of the items purchased from FPS West—the premier supplier of 2CV parts in the US.

Always garaged. Classic fabric interior.This 2CV is a lot of fun to drive—I get questions and comments wherever I go.
