This is a rare1948 Chrysler Town and Country convertible, project which needs completion.It is on a custom chassis by Old Anvil speed shop. It features a A arm independent front end with power rack and pinion steering, air bag suspension and big disk brakes.Out back is a new Currie 9" rear end, on a custom 4 link air bag suspension and big disks.The entire suspension is controlled by an Accuair E-level control system.Wheels and tire areThe drivetrain is a rebuilt early Hemi 354 cubic inch V8 backed by a modern 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission.The engine has a complete Holley EFI system hidden in the look a like carburetor for modern performance and vintage appearance.The body is in great shape, possibly original paint with scuffs and blemishes here and there, interior appears to be stock as well.Would make a great resto-mod type car in its current state, wood is also in great shape.The car needs to be completed: the heavy work is done, but all of the details like wiring, exhaust, plumbing, etc. need completion.I can answer questions and have all receipts for current work.
