1992 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible Additional Info:

Chrysler brought back the era of the cool cruising American drop-top with this generation Chrysler LeBaron Convertible. And this well-preserved 1992 example gives you terrific details like sharp paint, a loaded A/C interior, and the desirable fuel-injected V6 option. The LeBaron has a terrific history at Chrysler. It re-ignited a love for the American can convertible in the early 1980s and evolved into this design. The hidden headlight front end, sleek-fitting body, color-matched bumpers, and flush tail light panel were all part of a design that brought the classic American drop-top into the modern era. You can see it all so well today because this exceptionally preserved example has averaged barely over 2200 miles annually. It keeps a very stock style with nice details like well-fitting doors, good seals, and clean glass - including the rear window. You must repair the headlight doors if you want to drive at night. The red paint appears to be the factory application, still looking impressive for its age. And the clean black rub strip that hugs the waistline also goes nicely with the black convertible top. The only real addition we can spot is a set of bright 15-inch alloys. They use the waterfall grille to give you the right touch of American brightwork distinction. The high-end LX model means you're treated to a loaded leather interior. The bucket seats up front have modern bolstering, and the driver's one is power-adjustable for the best in all-day comfort. You have many modern features, including power locks, cruise control, an armrest center console, an electric rear defogger, and the factory AM/FM/cassette premium audio system. You even get modern safety features like a driver's airbag and anti-lock brakes. But we know what your true favorite features will be. The power windows combined with the power folding roof means you don't have to leave the driver's seat to go from enclosed luxury to a wind-in-you-hair experience. And with the air conditioning blowing nice and cold, you can do this on those long summer days and still stay comfortable. This may be a great American cruiser, but the optional Japanese motor makes this one particularly desirable. It's the 3.0-liter fuel-injected V6 borrowed from Mitsubishi. The overhead camshaft design gives it a great low end, and then the V6's powerful nature takes over at highway speeds. The result is a smooth and comfortable ride whether it's a grocery run or a road trip. Also adding to this drive-happy nature are features like power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive. Complete with the owner's manual packet. This is a loaded luxury convertible with plenty of sophistication. And it's also a great chapter in American motoring. So don't miss this preserved LeBaron drop-top. Call now!
