1985 Chrysler LeBaron Mark Cross Turbo Coupe Description: Collector owned car. I’m selling 3 of my cars to thin the herd. Of all the cars I have ever owned, this car has my favorite seats; very comfortable and supportive and look great! I purchased the car in Sep 2006 with 41,882 miles. I added a locking center stack console from a New Yorker for more storage and convenience. It even has a pullout cupholder tray. 2.2 liter turbo engine, 146 horsepower. Automatic transmission. Soft two-toned leather seats. The Mark Cross logo is embossed on each seat back. Power steering. Power brakes. Power windows. Power locks. Power driver seat. Power trunk release. Power mirrors. Air conditioning. Rear defroster. Tilt wheel. AM/FM cassette stereo with equalizer. Cruise control. Intermittent wipers. Illuminated passenger vanity mirror. Everything works. Undercarriage was undercoated by dealer. Only surface rust on transmission pan and one spot bubbling under paint on passenger door. 24,970 LeBaron coupes were produced in 1985. The Mark Cross package was a small percentage of the coupes.
Mileage: 55,430. I am still driving the car so mileage will go up a pinch.
Repair/Resto History: · 2006 – new rear shocks and MAP sensor. Convert A/C to new refrigerant. New tires (42,423 miles) · 2008 – new headliner, timing belt and water pump (46,457 miles) · 2009 – new thermostat · 2011 – new coolant and oil pressure switches (49,603 miles) · 2012 – repaint (base and clear coat); the top gold color is slightly off from original, so vinyl top was painted yellow to match the lower body color · 2013 – new brake pads, calipers and rotors (51,437 miles) · 2015 – new radio. When original silver-face radio died, it was replaced with a newer black unit. To keep the style consistent throughout the dash, I replaced the A/C and lighter switches with black bezels. · 2016 – blown head gasket repaired, new distributor cap, spark plugs, head gasket set, ignition wires, head bolt kits, distributor rotor; new radiator, cap thermostat and hoses; replace water pump; 2 oil changes and flushes and oil filters (53,597 miles) · 2017 – power steering fluid flush · 2019 – new battery (55,100 miles) Neithercar nor title leave my possession until after my bank says funds have cleared. That includes cash.
