1984 Chrysler LeBaron Mark Cross Additional Info:

I acquiredthis LeBaron from the family of an elderly owner who was no longer able to drive. The car is in excellent condition with the exception of a worn driver's seat and the minor dings and scratches typical of a vehicle of this vintage.

Mechanically, there seems to be no major issues. The engine starts/runs fine and I haven't experienced any overheating. Initial acceleration is a little sluggish so a minor tune-up would probably help. The steering rack seems a bit loose so I've purchased and will include a new/rebuilt rack. I can have this installed after purchase. The driver and passenger windows work, but the rear quarter windows barely move and will require attention. The power door locks are also slow to operate.

I installed a period-correct Chrysler radio in place of an aftermarket unit that had been installed. It works fine and the sound quality is surprisingly good. I have not had a chance to test the cassette player. The car does stillspeak to you to remind you to close the door, fasten your seatbelt, etc. which is really cool.

The convertible top appears to be new-ish and includes a glass window. I've lowered/raised the roof a number of times and it worked flawlessly. A boot is included.

The trunk is clean and the deck lid lift supports are new. I have a new Chrysler emblem/logo that will be installed before delivery.

Please feel free to write if you have any questions. I've done my best to represent this car as accurately as possible but as with all used cars, nothing can be guaranteed. It is clear the previous owner did his best to maintain this little Chrysler. I'm a bit short on storage space with too many project cars at the moment, so hoping to pass this fine example of '80s nostalgia on to someone else who can appreciate and maintain it.
