1962 Chrysler Newport 2 Door Hardtop.Super reliable, was my daily for 2 years, RUST FREE AZ Car, 440 big block RB engine bored .030 over w/ 727 pushbutton automatic transmission, 4-linked & rebuilt Ford 9" rear axle w/ limited slip, Demon 750cfm Carb, Edelbrock Torquer 440 Intake, vintage Direct Connection Mopar valve covers, Comp Cams 280h Camshaft, Custom Air Ride Front & Rear w/ Little Larry's manual Valve Block, air pressure gauges to all 4 wheels & tank, 9 Gal. Stainless Air Tank, Custom-Made Compressor, & all 1/2" Lines, All Parker DOT Fittings, custom made rear seat w/ raised center/armrest area to clear modified floor w/ trans tunnel raised 7" so car will go all the way down to the ground. New Hankook Optimo whitewalls on Cragar SS 14" wheels, fuel tank in trunk w/ operational sender, & all new fuel & vent hardlines, all regular and parking brake wear & hydraulic parts replaced, rear of car re-hardlined w/ adjustable proportioning valve (stops well w/ manual drum brakes, & parking brake holds well on inclines, all new front ball joints, radius arm bushings, steering shaft bushing, replaced rubber/weather stripping & window felt, Powermaster alternator, aluminum radiator, Hi-Flow water pump, custom made fan shroud (runs 180* in summer Vegas heat). Autometer tach, oil, temp, & volt gauges, factory Electro-Luminescent lighting capacitor replaced & factory lighting also working. All exterior lighting, including turn signal cancelling works ( a big deal on Chryslers of this era), Kenwood Stereo w/ USB phone control, JBL speakers, wired for amp installation, front & rear seatbelts, heater & HVAC blower work.
