1950 Chrysler Imperial Additional Info:
This is an original un-restored car. 99.9% rust free. Very rare model for this year. Would make a super easy project as it needs very little to be drive-able. Paint is original patina-ed and has minor surface rust here and there. Upholstery is shot and needs to be re done. This is a rare power windows car, also has power brakes. Has been converted to electric fuel pump, water pump and fan. I've made a stand alone harness to run all of this that is super simple. Has been converted to 12 volt positive ground system with a Ford 3G 250 AMP alternator that can run anything. Tires are newer, one has a leak so the spare is on. I recently dropped the oil pan and cleaned it out as well as flushing the cooling system. Has brand new coolant and Shaffer's racing oil. Engine runs great and has excellent oil pressure, about 40 psi at idle. I installed a 435 CFM Rochester 2g carb from a '72 Chevy for added reliability. I burned the electric fuel pump up running the tank dry so I have ordered a new one. The brakes work somewhat but need to be gone through before driving. I have a new brake rebuilding kit that comes with the car along with many other extra and original hard to find parts that I have gathered for it. Not shown are another pair of rear fenders that are included to replace the damaged ones. All in all, it's a good original car that could easily be drive able with a weekend of tinkering.
