1979 Chrysler Cordoba Additional Info:

I am selling my 1979 Chrysler Cordoba T-TOP. As you can see from the pictures below, this is a very rare edition. In fact, I have never seen another Cordoba like this one. I am the 2nd owner, and the car has been garaged for its 37 years in South California.
It has been driven 103964 original miles as of today. The car is ready to go and can be driven wherever you would like to take it. I use it regularly, e.g., to drive to work occasionally. It is almost entirely original (aside of the exhaust pipe, etc). Given its age, the car is in superb condition inside and outside and has been taken care of all of its life. All fluids have been flushed recently, and the white-wall tires are merely about 2 years and ~3000 miles old. I would rate the interior 9/10 (see pictures) and the outside an 8/10. Mechanically, the car is in fantastic shape as well with no noticeable leaks, engine sounds, or anything else (8.5/10). The T-Top roof is in fantastic shape as well. Looking at the car (and driving it) you would certainly not believe that it is 37 years old, I know many 5-year-old cars in lesser shape.
The 360 5.9 L V8 4BBL engine runs very strong without any issues and so does the automatic transmission. Air conditioning would need a refill. The carburetor was replaced 2 years ago, and the car always starts and without any issues. The only notable issue is that the driver's door lock does not work anymore as somebody tried to break into the car years ago and ruined the lock's cylinder. This is not a major problem as the door opens and locks without issues and you only have to turn the key from the passenger's side to get in after you locked the car (from both sides). You can also replace the lock but I never bothered to do so. This minor annoyance aside, everything works like new (e.g., gauges, power seat adjustment, power windows,...). There are also no noticeable cracks in the dash, nor any noticeable dings in the body. The car has a well documented record.
To say it one last time, this is a T-TOP Cordoba in a rare edition and in absolutely fantastic conditions. I have sold rare/classic cars internationally before, in case you need help shipping and so forth.
The car is sold as-is without any warranty and assuming that you are a serious buyer and understand what buying a 37-year-old car implies, e.g., there are no 21st-century safety features, no airbags, and no GPS. The way you stay safe in old cars is by driving carefully and by taking care of your car by regular maintenance! This is not a toy; these cars are very rare, please don't ruin them and keep them in original conditions so that everybody else can enjoy them and learn about the history of American cars firsthand. If you have never driven an old car or classic before, feel free to contact a mechanic before/after buying the car for details so that you can take good care of the inside and outside. I am also selling the car locally and thus may have to end the auction. I am under no pressure to sell, so please do not contact me if you are not serious about buying the car.

I was asked to add two pictures of the engine bay and trunk and just did so. They were made with a smartphone with a flash in my garage so the quality is not as nice as the other pictures.
