I will sell it with or without the engine.
It is available to see and drive beginning today Aug 12th. Read post and then send me your ph# and best time for me to call you. Don't delay I plan to sell it by Monday. The body is very solid.
It is old school fast. I bought it 12 years ago after it had a frame off restoration on a rotisserie. He soda blasted the frame and body. The underside is painted the body color and frame is silver grey see photos. It has been driven a lot so underneath is dirty.
When I bought it in 2004 the guy had done most of the work fairly good such as: all the rubber cushions were replaced, front suspension components replaced, urethane bushings, front 4 piston disk brakes, new rear brakes, powder coated frame. He screwed up on the body paint he did not prep it properly so the door jam paint is peeling off, lousy body paint but no rust rot the only rust is below the back window, minor right rear fender damage, no damage to tail light or trunk, He replaced all the weather stripping. He installed a painless (that is BS I ripped it out it was actually a painful) wiring kit, nice custom interior, perfect headliner job, after market power windows, looks like a new floor pan and trunk pan, doors trunk fenders are aligned very good, doors work perfect, he replaced lower rear fenders and has a new hood with surface rust. I have the guage and speedo cluster and a decent dash insert, glove box with several heater controls and heater core and box. The interior is a maroon with a checked maroon and grey insert. The upholsterer did a great near perfect job.
AFTER I BOUGHT IT I DID SOME NEEDED UPGRADES AND MODIFICATIONS.
I installed the most expensive Ron Francis wiring kit that was very easy to install or make changes with all the relays and circuits you could ever want. It is partially installed into glove box area. I have the new box and door. All wires are coiled up full length if relocating is preferred. I had the engine completely rebuilt, It has original 427 corvette forged crank, TRW forged pistons and rods, 454 block and heads, new Holly double pumper 750 carburetor, new MSD A6 and coil, new plug wires with custom wire looms, two piece aluminum timing cover, nice big comp cam kit and aluminum roller rockers. I dissembled, inspected, and lubed the Hurst shiftier, adjusted linkage, inspected clutch sorted out issues with clutch linkage and made more clearance to the floor and clutch yoke. I installed new stainless steel brake lines mandrel bent from classic tube (wow what a job to do it right), installed double diaphragm power booster, new proportioning valve and new master cylinder. I have a vacuum booster and tank which will help the brakes work better at low rpm due to the radical cam. It has a 12 bolt posi differential low ratio maybe 4:11. It is a new SS hood but it has surface rust. Unfortunately it had to sit outside some. I have new hood hinges for it, Auto Meter tach and gauges, I have a nice instrument cluster with clock and a second panel insert for a manual shift car, lots and lots of heater ducting and heater box, new dash pad. It looks like a new grill with the outside trim for the front and more. Right now it has just the fuel cell in it and I have the gas tank and it looks like a new one inside and out.
