Refinished in its original 52 Garnet Red and traditional black racing stripes, this Camaro was delivered to Modern Chevrolet in Winston Salem North Carolina in 1969. It comes equipped with the familiar look of optional factory air spoilers and an optional cowl induction hood. Under the hood is a correct, but non numbers matching 302 with the stamped sequence : V, meaning assembled in Flint Michigan, 1022, meaning assembly started on October 22nd and DZ; the factory code for 302 cubic inch Z/28 motors. It is alsoi stamped with the casing number 3932386 which dates it as a 1969 block. It includes the correct Winters intake, correct double hump heads and a correct DZHolley carburetor. A correct close ratio Muncie 4 speed transmission, with casing number 3925660, send torque through a 12 bolt Posi-Traction rear end with 3.73 gears. This is a beautiful car!
