1956 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
This classic 1956 Chevy "Business Coupe" is a one of a kind. Although this 2 door post sedan originally came with a flat platform instead of a rear back seat, I installed a bench seat with new upholstery. I changed the front seat to two bucket seats with a cubby and cup holders in the middle and also re-upholstered them to match the rear. The picture of the interior shows the tuck and roll on the front door panels. The rear panels are also tuck and roll. I also installed a new transmission, new 350 motor, which now has only approximately 800 to 900 miles on it, a CD/radio player, even though the original radio is still in it, and re-did the front end. The inside was originally equipped with rubber flooring, but is now carpeted along with the rear dash area. The trunk is the original green. The dash is now black but the front panel is the original white. The scuff plates are original. Both bumpers are the original one piece bumpers. The back windows are still stationary, just the way they were originally made. The two back windows, the two wings, and the rear window are original. The only thing that needs repaired on this car is the driver's side window. It has a crack from when the wind blew the door shut during an - out of nowhere - wind gust one afternoon. Since it does not have air conditioning and I only take it out of the garage in the summer months, I usually have the windows rolled down anyway. This vehicle has won best of show in its class at several car shows! As I said, it only comes out of the garage during the summer car show months. It has been excellently maintained and cared for in great detail.
