1950 Chevrolet Business Coupe Additional Info:
1950 Chevrolet Business Coupe w/clear title. This vehicle was purchased in 2012 in Texas little (to no rust) with good intentions to restore. Too many projects now. It is stored under a covered canopy in Aztec, NM for 4 years. This was a fully operational vehicle that was involved in a single car rollover with no apparent frame damage. The car was purchased with no engine or transmission. The engine mounts were set up for a 383 stroker engine (350 will also fit) and the transmission mounts are set up for a 700R4. The rearend is also out of a 1977 Camaro (10 bolt w/273 gear ratio). The frame has been modified with a 1977 Camaro front end with power steering and power brakes and was professionally done with clean welds. The frame was also notched out below both doors for a side exhaust (very cool!). The components are under the hood and included. The rear end is also out of a 1977 Camaro and the right rear axle snapped when the vehicle rolled and these are components needed: bearings, brake plate. brake assembly and hub. The axle housing appears to be okay. The front grille, hood and deck lid appear to be okay with most of the chrome molding still intact on the car. The dash is in great shape with all gauges and components in place. The interior upholstery most likely will need to be redone. One crown jewel is the "Lead Foot Racing" custom aluminum radiator that was originally in this car and is included in this auction (retails for $500). This is a project car sold "AS IS" and all sales are final. Please call Gary (970-946-2986) with questions. It is the sole financial responsibility of the buyer to arrange loading and pickup. I will allow ample time (2 months)for vehicle to be picked up. Payment is required within 7 days with a cashiers or personal check with a $500 deposit required within 48 hours of auction end.
