'81 3/4 ton Scottsdale, 350 engine and 4 speed transmission. This is a great running pickup. It had been setting for the last couple of years before I picked it up. We replaced both of the front brake lines, the master cylinder, and we did a service on it with new oil and filters. It still had the original 16.5 wheels and tires on the front, so we found 2 that matched the rear (from early 2000 chevy) they are now16 inch and easy to get tires for it. I still have 2 original wheels and all 4 (excellent condition) hubcaps that go with the truck. Also comes with original build sheet, owners manual, and warranty info from when purchased new in 1981.
Maybe the best part of the truck is the PTO driven hydraulic dump bed. This truck looks just like any pickup going down the road, but will save you a ton of time and back pain, when you can just pull a lever to unload, instead of shoveling! Perfect for landscaping or small farm, or just about anything else. Power steering, power brakes, and a power dump bed. Pretty handy to have around.
The body is overall very solid, with a few exceptions shown in video and pictures. This is definitely not a rusty truck by square body standards. The floors and body mounts are all solid. It has been in Kansas all its life.
All the gauges work, except the speedometer. It does need a speedo cable. It carries 40lbs plus of oil pressure, and doesn't smoke, or get hot. It drives nice and is comfortable doing 60mph or a little faster. All the lights work as they should. It's basically ready to hop in and drive.
