Very, very rare Spirit of 76, Chevy Bonanza. Only 10 special edition Bonanzas were assembled and only 500 Spirit of 76 trucks came off the assembly line. When was the last time you could say you had an opportunity to own a 1 of 10 chevy vehicle? This is the only known Spirit of 76 Special Edition survivor. I have searched for Spirit of 76s' over the last ten years and have only seen a handful and none of the Special Editions. Documentation included with purchase. Previous owner states the 41K miles are original, but it's unverified.
The Spirit of 76 targeted those patriotic Americans that were/are proud of their country and wore that patriotism on their sleeve. In a time of terrorist threats, presidential campaigns that tout “Make America Great Again”, I say “Buy Proud, Buy American”. This is an era when we owned the market and the US was the global standard!
The interior it very rare, but the good news is it doesn’t need repairing. This vehicle has the original Spirit of 76’ paint job, matching # engine, mostly rust free (a few small spots), strong 350 V8 engine, automatic tranny, 4X4 works perfect, drives straight, no blue smoke, no cracks in dash, all gauges work, all electrical works, windows crank up and down smoothly, straight chrome lines, the official Spirit of 76 badging, the Scotsdale interior package, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, not the original radio (the dash is not cut, so it can be fixed!) I do not know when the pushbar or the bedliner were added. Prior to getting this, it was claimed to be a two owner car. It is unmolested besides the radio, and the bedliner (I am unsure if the Special Edition came with the pushbar or not).
The Spirit of 76 is stored in a climate controlled garage. I highly encourage you to do your market research to understand how rare this vehicle is. Simply Google "Spirit of 76 Bonanza" and you will see pages of articles on this exact truck. Own a piece of history, catch this before it ends up at a Barrett Jackson auction collecting double the price..
