1972 Chevrolet Suburban Custom 20 Additional Info:

If you bid please plan to pick it up within a week. I need it gone. You arrange the transport.
This Suburban is a project that I never finished and while I used to use it occasionally it has not started in 4 years. The 350 V8 does not quite fire when I try to start it with a good battery. It could make a good restoration project or you could part it out. Note that I will not sell parts off it, you have to by the whole thing. It is a rust bucket and will need a lot of sheet metal replaced as part of a restoration.

The good
Rear AC Unit there (but AC not working)
Turbo 350 automatic has about 500 miles since rebuilt
One side of the rear suspension has been rebuilt and parts for the other side are included
Radiator replaced
Battery like new
3 door model
Tailgate on the rear instead of doors
It still has the third row seat and the two back seats might clean up OK.
The glass is good
Rear wheel drive with a high ratioI will include rocker panels and front floor panels since the original rockers are almost gone and the panels are showing signs of rusting through.
The bad
Doesn't start, but sputtered for a few seconds when I sprayed starter fluid in it.
It was losing water when it ran (suspect head gasket, but who knows)
It ran rough when it ran
Everything is rusty (rear sides, wheel wells, bottom of doors front quarters behind the wheel wells, plan on replacing most lower parts)
Steering wheel is falling apart
Front seat needs recovering
mold on interior panels
Rear wood floor needs replacement
electrical flakiness some lights not working, possible opens or shorts
too much to list, see pictures
True odometer reading unknown
I do have a pair of long bed truck sides and wheel wells available separately for $600, that I had for the project.
Clean Blue Title in my name
