This is a beautiful, show quality 1970 Chevelle SS that is one of the nicest, most detailed Chevelle’s in the world. Every nut and bolt was removed during this frame off restoration.
I’m a fanatic so I wanted everything to be perfect and work performed only by the best and someone specializing in their field. I wanted an engine that would always start right up, be dependable, and have good horse power so I had a brand new turn-key 468 c.i. 550 h.p. motor built by Meier Performance Engines. They specialize in building motors and they’re proven to be trouble-free and very dependable motors. Every nut and bolt was removed from the car. Any steel part that could go through an oven was stripped and powder coat painted for a long lasting rust-free application. Other parts were sent out to a show quality chrome plater. This car is practically brand new. All bearings and seals throughout the car were changed. Brake lines, brake pads, fuel lines, wiring harnesses, and many more things that are too much to list have all been replaced or rebuilt. I saved the hundreds of receipts, instruction sheets, and spec sheets for all the parts that were purchased during the restoration.
The car has power steering, tilt wheel, A/C, AM/FM radio, 4 speed manual transmission, 350 posi traction rear end, 468 c.i. 550 h.p., balanced and blue printed engine. There are approximately 108 miles on the car since it was restored. Car runs and drives great. The car has always been in a climate controlled garage and never seen any rain.
The color of the car is Blue Flame Metallic. It’s a beautiful, high gloss, flawless paint job. This car is basically perfect inside and out. You will not find a nicer Chevelle SS.
I’m not in a hurry to sell the car so if you need some time to come up with the final payment let me know and we can probably work something out. From past experience I know how difficult the process can be to purchase a collector car and especially if it’s out of state. I’ll do everything I can to make you feel at ease so it’s a smooth transaction. Please feel free to e-mail or call with any questions you might have or to set up an appointment to see the car. I’ll respond to your questions as quickly as I can. I reserve the right to end the auction early because the car is also for sale locally. Most people can only dream of having a car this nice.
I’m selling the car because I purchased a hobby farm and I just don’t have time to use it. The restoration was completed last June and I only have 108 miles on it. I could also use the money towards the farm that needs work. I have well over $65,000 invested in this car and that doesn’t include all of my time.
