1989 Chevrolet Silverado R3500

Original 350 engine and 400 3 speed transmission. Just got back from paint. Newly covered bench seats front and back in all leather, no vinyl. Headliner is doubled with foam to add sound isolation. Interior is covered on the floor with deadener and upgraded carpet with liner. It’s kinda quiet until you start it. Front clip was changed to the 86 style with led lights. No motor or transmission work has been done yet except for headers and flow master 40 series dual exhaust. Truck was a 1 ton long bed and was shortened to fit a short bed. Short bed was sourced and not cut to fit. Frame was properly done with double fish plates. Static 5-7 drop with 20” Torque thrust wheels staggered. I think they are 8” front and 10 in the rear. Rear end was changed to 4.10 posi locked gears. Fun at low speeds loud at 70. Blazer tank mod in the rear with blazer rear bumper. Interior is almost complete except some trim needs to be put back on. Dakota digital dash gauges installed with alpine stereo with 2 10” sub woofers inclosed. All window gaskets were replaced but motors are still slow. Needs a couple of new door lock motors too. Next on the chopping block was the engine bay but my eyes are wandering to another toy.
