I am confident that the High End hard to find conditio, Quality and Desireability of this great car will merit great interest for this to go to its new home. --------------------------------------------------- THIS CAR IS A SOUTHERN CAR FROM SOUTH CAROLINA AND STILL LOCATED IN SOUTH CAROLINA ITS WHOLE LFE, IT HAS NEVER BEEN DRIVEN IN THE Midwest winters of salt and chemicals . There was NO rust damage ever on this car or any kind of body damaged. Always well cared for by a Man that is now 70 years old. This is a 1 family owned car. It was bought new in Jul, 1977 and comes with the original bill of sale.This car was in excellent driving condition before the husband surprized his wife with a complete thorough restoration. He spent over $18,000 on this car within the last 1000 miles . To be clear it has only been driven about 1000 miles since everything was done that I am about to list. ----------------------------------------It had every single exterior trim piece and exterior part taken off this car for the paint job. Every light, bumper, dorr handle chrome tri, any and all trim etc. The paint job was over $9,000 dollars. It was put on a raised car rack and the work done to the slightest detail of the bottom of the body to the inside of the wheel wells also. This car had no rust or body damage of any kind. It was in great condition to begin with but had the old style single stage paint that was redone to the modern clear coat version. I took close ups to show that this car is as straight as new and probably even better. There is not a single ding or dent on this car . Even the front end and side mirrors for example have not even a single nic or the whole bottom edg, inside wheels well, lower area behind the rear wheels etc . All perfectly smooth with no nics or dings just like when it was new. . All the trim was carefully cleaned and polished before being put back on. The bottom of the car including the very bottom edge has been painted to the same quality as above. Look at the bottom behind the wheel, inside the wheel well edges and rockers and under rockers, Perfect. This car was professionally buffed to shine like a mirror. You simply can't get a better quality job than this . Every single part on the bottom of this car was taken off and replaced with new parts. the whole under body was"Encapsulator Plus Painted and put on the whole underbody and frame. Every single area. I took alot of pictures under the car to show this and all the new parts. Painted to be as bright black and smooth as new". -------THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION WERE REMOVED AND REBUILT. Painted to factory new condition with the proper colors and wow, when you lift the hood the whole engine compartment is nearly like the day it was bought new condition. --------The motor and transmission are original to this car. Matching numbers. Then the new brake lines were put o, whole exhaust system, tie rods, ball joints, sway bar bushings, U-joint, brakes, starte, batter, alternator, belts, hoses, carb, pugs wires, thermastat, water pump, fuel pump. Every light bulb in this car is new from the headlights to the tail lights and interior "TIRES" and on and on. All the rubber trim is perfect. door edges and trunk for example. All new. NO dry rot. The doors are adjusted perfectly and close with the touch of your fingers. NO sagging and no slamming to shut it. No leaks when it is washed. This has never been driven in the rain since redone either. The interior is awesome. The seats were redone in beautiful matching velour cloth material replacing the vinyl. LT seats only came in vinyl. High end stitch work on these . The headliner is new . The carpet is new. Everything works perfectly as well as the factory radio. The rear end and all seals fluid serviced. Anti-freeze and air conditioning complete service and conversion to 134a. This has the reciepts for all this work by a well known shop that specializes in restoring cars. The finest most complete work that can be done. This car has its original book and window sticker as well as build sheet and original purchase agreement form new. Sorry to be so wordy but it important to detail the quality of this car that is so amazing . LT was the Luxury Touring version that came out in 1976. This is the last year of metal bumpers.
