This 55 is a shell of what it was but it is in really nice condition. I purchased it 20 years ago to restore but never got to it. Work had been stated before I purchased it. I've done a 55 Chevy before and I know the bad spots to look at. I have tried to show those areas in the pictures.
Yes the floor needs to be replaced but that's not a big deal. Buy a full floor pan with cross braces and that's handled. Now look at the pictures of the inside of the fenders. Solid even way up where the cap above the headlights and follow the pictures to the bottom of the fenders. I've taken pictures through the tail light openings so you can see how solid the rear quarters are. The trunk pan is nice but the spare tire well and just outside of it, there are a few small holes.
Other pictures include the doors inside and out. Work that was started on the doors appears to be limited to the lip of the metal door skin that raps around to the inside. The rocker panels were replaced but still need a little work. The hood was stripped but never primed. That's not a issue because it has only surface rust, since it has been stored inside for so long.
This car is a candidate for a chemical dip, as it appears so nice. If you have any questions, please ask and I will do my best to help.
