1973 Chevrolet Vega Additional Info:

1973 Chevrolet Vega Hatchback 140 Cubic Inch 2 barrel 4 speed Manual Transmission. Has the GT trim Package. This car is in near perfect condition.There is NO RUST ANYWHERE on this car. It is a ONE OWNER car from day one until October 2020. I have the Original Invoice and Finance papers from the Original purchase. Car has 48,055 Original Miles, has Original paint that is in great condition. Paint is 47 Years old and has a few very small dings and is a little thin in a couple of spots on the hood, but looks as if it were just painted. The dings did not chip the paint so a Paintless Dent person should have no trouble removing them. The trim is also near perfect with no fading or dull areas. The Bumpers are excellent with no pitting. The taillight lenses and side marker lenses are also like new. The Door and Rear hatch Weatherstripping and Window channel Weatherstripping and Window rubber are as soft as they were from day one.It has factory applied undercoating which is still in great condition.The windows have no scratches and are very clear. The Windshield does not have the pitting as you would find on a 47 year old car. There are 2 very small chips in the Windshield but hard to see. Car has Manual Steering, Manual front Disc. brakes, and drums in the rear. Car even has the original shocks.New B.F. Goodrich tires have just been put on with 100 miles on them.Brakes are in good condition. The interior is also in like new condition with no rips or tears in the seat covers, and the seat foam is not hard and dried out. The stitching is pulling away on the seat bottoms of the front seats where the edge meets the seat back cushion but is only about 1/2 inch long. The carpet is in great condition as is all the plastic panels and the gauge cluster lens is as clear as day one. The headliner is also in great condition. There are no panels missing or cracked including the dash pad. All gauges work except clock. Even the key buzzer and fasten seat belt buzzer work. The engine and trans drive very well and the shifter is solid with no play in the linkage. The car has no rattles and the panel fitment and gaps are great especially for a low price car as Vegas were.All lights work including reverse lights. Wipers work also as does the heater. Engine is original with a recent tune up and hoses replaced and the Radiator has been cleaned so there are no fins corroded. I know this is a long winded writeup but the Condition of this Vega is just incredible and has not had a V8 swap so that makes it a little bit cooler in my opinion.
