1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z/28 Additional Info:
This is a one-owner low-mileage 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z/28. And while the history is enticing, it also has the right pieces you really want, including a custom upgraded exterior, loaded A/C interior, and the factory 5.7-liter fuel injected V8.
We love the IROC-Z because it just has a speedy style direct from the factory, including the full body kit and spoiler. But there's more going on with this one. The black paint is an upgrade later in life. Not only does it have a nice shine, but it was also part of a well-coordinated package. The Z-car's hood louvers are now done in silver, and there are silver SS stripes on the rear. You also have an updated Chevy bow tie up front done in black and silver. Even the IROC-Z's 16-inch alloys were detailed to follow this black and silver package. It all makes for the classic Camaro look you love with some well-done distinction added on top.
The tan interior looks terrific against the black exterior. And we not only love it for the color combo, but also its condition. It's a well-preserved appearance, right down to the Camaro script in the seatbacks. It really reminds you that this is a one-owner coupe that has averaged barely over 1,000 miles annually. Another reason why this would be kept so well is because this is a loaded machine. You have a power driver's seat, power windows, power locks, cruise control, and the factory AM/FM/cassette stereo. It's a true driver's setup with an armrest center console, tilt steering column, and three-spoke sports steering wheel that's engineered to give you a clear view to the full gauge package.
While the interior is loaded, the engine bay has the best option of them all. This is one of the Z-cars upgraded to the L98 350 cubic-inch fuel-injected motor, and this is the numbers-matching unit still under the hood. This could only be mated to the stout 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission because the motor made too much power for the five-speed manual of the day. Having a modern classic like this also means plenty of worthwhile driver upgrades. For example, this IROC has four-wheel disc brakes, sway bars front & rear, power steering, and a limited slip rear end.
This one-owner Camaro come with the dealer invoice, a copy of the window sticker, owner's manual, and title documentation. It's the IROC-Z with plenty of personality. Call today!!!
