1967 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Additional Info:

A bright appearance, a performance attitude, and well-coordinated details make this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible the kind of all-around package that many people want but few have the time to get it all together.

We have nearly $80k in restoration receipts on this car, and it was all about giving it a lot of harmony that allows it to blend the vintage so nicely with the upgrades. The chrome bumpers were given a solid investment during the restoration, and so they shine just as bright as the upgraded RTS alloys. The panels are straight, and so the added bold red racing stripes have a sharp appearance. The white paint has a terrific shine that gives this the look of a premium machine, and the white convertible top looks quite nice against it. And this upper class look still goes well with all the sporty features, like the chin spoiler, full-width rear spoiler, and tall cowl induction hood. So the full package is vintage, upgraded, and quite harmonious.

Even when you take the roof down, you can still see more thoughtful packaging. A crisp presentation and new carpeting make this a nice place to spend some time. After all, the deluxe upholstery has white trim that coordinates with the exterior. So while the deep and dark black has an attractive look all on its own, you can show this with the top off, and still get a full feeling of harmony inside and out. This has the right extras you want, like an AM/FM stereo with iPod input for upgraded music. And you really get to enjoy the drive to the fullest with a grippy sports steering wheel, full upgraded auxiliary gauge trio, Hurst shifter, and handy SunPro tach mounted prominently on the steering column.

The dark and clean inner walls of the engine bay really make the polished components pop every time you lift the hood. While there was a small fortune was invested to give this an award-worthy look, right down to the billet dipstick, there's also a ton of substance behind the style. It's a 327 cubic-inch V8 upgraded with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. There are the right supporting components, like a Pertronix Flame Thrower distributor, Powermaster starter, an electric fan, and upgraded pulleys. Even the details were taken care of, like stainless steel brake lines, a newer stainless gas tank, Detroit Engineering multi-leaf rear shackles, and added Hotchkis frame supports. The V8 fires up nicely, and you take firm control with the Muncie four-speed manual transmission. It makes for a great driving classic that's furthered by power brakes with front discs and modern Nexen tires.

There was a big investment here to get a first year Camaro that blends the vintage looks you love with all the right upgrades. So if you love a total package convertible, call today!!!
