1967 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
It's no secret that we love these handsome Chevy trucks, and this tastefully restored 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup delivers all the things we love about the Advanced Series design. With a great color combination, a very strong small block V8, and a comfortable A/C interior and you get a truck that's daily driver friendly but sharp enough to qualify for a spot at any local show field.
You can tell even at a glance that this is a special truck. It's clean and sleek, at once familiar and unique, leading you to wonder what else is in store. Well, for starters, the truck was restored and beautifully painted over straight bodywork, so this square-jawed workhorse now has a very sleek look. Other than a smooth roll pan in place of the rear bumper, they resisted the urge to add a cowl induction hood or any other styling gimmicks, because, quite honestly, it's hard to beat the factory styling on these trucks. It's really quite a clean slate, with the "Chevrolet" badge up front and the Bowtie in the grille as the only factory indicators, providing the next owner an awesome look as-is, or a great jump-off point for any aftermarket goodies. The bed features a factory tailgate with big CHEVROLET letters embossed on its surface, and the familiar taillights look great thanks to fresh lenses. Along the way, you'll note the beautiful dark gray, basecoat/clearcoat paint that looks like it was borrowed from a late-model color chart and the chiseled bodywork wears it splendidly. Great gaps and a deep shine emphasize the truck's sporty personality and the neatly refinished bed showcases a spray-in bedliner that's durable enough to handle just about anything you throw at it.
You get a little more than just a working-class interior with this C-10, because it's just as clean inside as it is outside, and just as well executed. Handsome black vinyl upholstery does a fantastic job of looking like real leather and the big bench is very comfortable and firm with solid yet supple padding underneath. That beautiful seat upholstery is matched with plush black carpets and matching factory door panels with arm rests that really tie the whole interior together nicely. The original gauges are gone, replaced by a set of crisp, clear, factory-replacement dials that look like they were born inside the new, super-clean bezel. There's a Sony AM/FM/CD/AUX stereo head unit in the factory dash-slot and powerful 'Old Air' A/C blows hard and cold inside the cab, so it feels quite up-to-date from behind the wheel. And speaking of the wheel, it's a chromed banjo-style unit with a padded vinyl rim, and it's mounted on a polished tilt steering column. Man, it's really nice in there!
More great stuff is happening under the hood, where you'll find a great-running 350 cubic inch small block V8 swapped in from a later-model Chevrolet. The engine bay is very clean and well-finished, with shiny black inner fenders flanking a neatly dressed engine block covered in Chevrolet Orange, to go along with the matching air cleaner and valve covers. With an A.I.R. 4-barrel carburetor and performance intake manifold, and an HEI distributor, it certainly has plenty of pep for a vintage pickup truck. It's got that awesome throaty idle and thanks to ram's horn style headers and a pair of glasspack mufflers on the dual exhaust, the soundtrack is racy, not trucky like you'd expect. The TH350 3-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and with acceleration-friendly gears in the 12-bolt rear end, this is one pickup that's shockingly quick off the line. Power steering and power front disc brakes make every ride enjoyable, and fresh bushings underneath help set that killer rake on the profile. Chrome Cragar SS wheels finish the look and are wrapped in staggered 215/65/15 front and 245/60/15 rear Cooper Cobra white-letter radials with plenty of tread left, and not only do they look great, but they also help plant the power for this lightweight truck.
Nicely finished trucks like this aren't easy to build and there's likely far more than the asking price tied up in it. So, stop shopping for a project and take this finished truck home instead. Call now!
