Here is a very nice and drivable 1959 Corvette in sought after colors. It has the 283 cubic inch V-8 with 2 4bbl carbs and puts out 245 horsepower. Frame-off restored 3 years ago. It is also believed to be a 39,000 original mile car. This is what I was told when I bought it and the old title had actual mileage on it . The motor has been replaced. Car was built in Nov 1958 (date code on block H 27 8) and it is the correct block (3756519) but the engine pad reads (F017CT) which breaks down to Flint built on Jan 7 1959. So I believe this was a factory replacement motor as it was built 2 months after the car was. Could have been a warranty replacement. I have no documentation to back this up but it is the only logical explanation I can give.
It has the factory type spare tire, jack and jack handle in the trunk. Everything works (even the clock) with exception to the AM radio. It is the signal seeking radio and that part does work, but I cannot get a station on it. Might be the antenna.
The car has a white convertible top that goes up and down as it should and is in very good condition…no rips or tears. Windows operate as they should. Car has good oil pressure and stays cool while driving.
It is a 4 speed trans with a positraction rear. The clutch is good and the trans shifts as it should.
Not a lot of these 59 cars around and they are steady going up in value. This car is priced to sell quickly so don’t hesitate as it will be gone.
Send me a message if you have any questions. I will get back to you quickly. To answer the first question everyone asks.."Why are you selling it?" Fact i, I do not fit in the car ! 6'2" and don't bend like I used too!! The ONLY reason I am selling it !!
