1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Additional Info:

1973 Stingray Coupe. Automatic Transmission. Factory A/C. The car has been in the same family with 2 owners since new. Was bought by one gentleman then sold to a nephew at some point and has been in storage since 1994. This car is all original, unmolested, complete except for a front bumper which I believe disintegrated.

The car starts right up and runs. Odometer says 40K . The car is all original, factory radio that works. Body is straight..Was originally War Bonnet Yellow.

All that I know that needs mechanical attention:Gas tank leaks.Transmission goes into gear but slips. Feels like fluid and filter change may take care of it but.... Driver side rear body mount is rusted out, rest of the frame is good, just surface rust.. Right rear brake caliper is off, right exhaust donut is leaking. Windows work but are slow. Headlights work, doors don't. Center console and dash are in excellent condition. Door panels are straight..

These cars are getting harder and harder to find being the last year they had chrome bumpers. These cars restored are bringing anywhere from 25-30K. This car would be an excellent candidate for a full restoration or could be made into a daily driver for not much money.

It was brought to my attention that war bonnet yellow was not a color offered in 73 so I checked the paint code and it is 953, Iridescent Yellow which is very close. Sorry for any confusion.
