However, GM tried to keep the tradition alive with advances with the Corvette, even though horsepower dropped throughout the C3 life, they pushed forward and had loyal followers. This particular C3 from 1979 is a nicely optioned car with power windows and A/C not to mention the more popular L-82 that put out 225 HP over the the base 195 HP car. This car has very good paint, good interior and added side pipes that make for a hell of a sound. The wire wheels are also a nice touch. This Vette starts right up at the twist of the key, shifts, brakes and goes down the road really nicely. It also has a nice engine dress up kit.
