This Corvette comes from a client of ours who is a discerning collector who always has a variety of automobiles from low production cars to modern exotics. This Corvette is a car that he's owned for a few years, had fun with, but now has decided that it's off to GKM to make room for a different vehicle to add to his collection.
The '79 'Vette we offer here for your consideration is a beautiful, low mileage example of America's favorite sports car. The car is finished in a subdued and original color combination of Dark Blue Metallic (code 83) over a Dark Blue interior (code 29). A little monotone, but with the curvy lines of the Corvette, the car looks excellent. The exterior is in great condition, which is to be expected with such low mileage and care taken for the car over the years. Inside the car looks great. Blue trim, leather highly bolstered seats, original Delco radio, lower dashboard gauges, door panels, and t-tops all show extremely well.
Under the hood is an L48 350ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission with power delivered to the ground through the rear wheels. The engine bay has been dressed up a little with an aftermarket chrome trimmed air cleaner, chrome brake booster cover, "Corvette" fan shroud plate, and Chevrolet chrome valve covers.
