1965 Chevrolet C-10 Restomod Additional Info:
This 1964 Chevrolet C10 restomod has the right attitude for a true muscle machine. After all, the unmistakable vintage shape is joined by a very modern look on the paint, great alloys, an aggressive stance, custom A/C interior, overdrive transmission, and serious fuel-injected modern V8 power. And it's all on a build with less than 875 miles on it!
A well-restored C10 from this generation always looks great. After all, these have an hourglass-like tapering in the waistline that starts on the hood and runs uninterrupted along both sides. There are even great details like the real oak wood in the truck bed. Plus, it has the desirable big back window cab. But you weren't attracted to this one just for its vintage style. Instead, we know it's the serious attitude that makes the real first impression. The gold paint has a modern satin metallic finish that instantly draws a crowd and signals this is an upgraded package. Plus, the bronze metallic paint on the roof, B-pillars, bumpers, grille, and side trim offer a well-coordinated and subtle two-tone to delight those who look at the details. And modern pieces like the projector headlights and the color-matched Raceline Bandit 20-inch alloys wheels are well-integrated to create a very thoughtful restomod.
The golden glow continues inside on this upgraded interior. The seat has the custom contouring and rivets to look like a vintage racecar. Thoughtful upgrades are nicely integrated, like the cold-blowing R134a air conditioning, cup holders, and an AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth. There's an upgraded wood-rimmed sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and it gives you a terrific view of the crisp and modern Dakota Digital gauge package.
Under the hood may just be your favorite upgrade of them all. The color-matched and ultra-tidy inner fenders and firewall give an award-worthy presentation to the modern motor in the middle. Such low mileage on the build means an exceptionally fresh look, and we dare you to find another component that can be polished on this V8. The consignor states that this is a 5.7-liter fuel-injected LS1 motor, and that it has been given a performance build that includes a 228R cam and a Professional Products throttle body. So yes, there is serious power behind this style. There's even the right supporting pieces, like March pulleys and a large aluminum radiator. The consignor states the 460LE four-speed automatic transmission was also rebuilt, and so it can handle the stout power while also delivering overdrive comfort. The C10's suspension was already a good candidate for a restomod with its trailing arm rear, and now that has been enhanced with upgraded shocks and a rear sway bar. Add in power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and wide modern tires, and this is the fuel-injected truck that's made to enjoy near or far.
The consignor states there's $60k in this build, and it's easy to see at least that much investment. So if you love a custom classic that's both easy to drive and great to show, don't miss this restomod. Call now!
