A very special Chevelle! 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS (Super Sport) coupe, 396ci / 325 Horsepower engine (enginedate codeof 05/09/1967), Turbo Hydra-maticautomatic Transmission (transmission date code of 04/18/1967), From the famous "Griffin Family Four" of Monroe, North Carolina, owned by Roy Lee Griffin of Griffin Chevrolet in Monroe, North Carolina until 2006, car was ordered in this rare two tone color (Nantucket Blue is the main body color and Deep Water Blue which is the roof color) The GM official production date of this Chevelle is 05/18/1967, Rear Axle date code of 05/08/1967, AM radio is working, Frame off Restoration to high quality in 2010, car has lots of original documentation which include original Protect-o-plate / Dealer invoice / owners manual / original metal dealer name tag off rear of car / Griffin Chevrolet folder that still has the 1967 Postage stamp / warranty information and much more! car still has the the original "Red Line" spare with markings from GM in the trunk, Center Console with clock, the base price of this Chevelle before any taxes or other costs was $3,200.00, This car sounds great when idling and even better when accelerating! A LOT of time and money and attention was given to this car during the frame off Restoration and it shows! the body is extremely straight, the paint looks beautiful! and As with most every car the paint has a few areas where you will find blemishes, the right front fender has a few tiny bubbles under paint, the interior looks new, the engine compartment looks new and the undercarriageis amazing. in the pics you might notice the rear is slightly lower than it should be but since the pics were taken I have corrected this issue, this Chevelle is a blast to drive and will enhance any collection it finds it way into, use as a weekend warrior or take to local car shows and win trophies!
