1973 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Deluxe 10 Additional Info:
1973 Custom Deluxe 10 Shortbed..
This was a frame off restoration, truck was taken down to bare chassis and sandblasted and powder coated satin black.
Lots of good parts and countless hours on this truck. It's a great truck. Here's a list starting with the drivetrain.
LS swapped with a 5.3L Lm7 from a 06 Tahoe low mileage and completely resealed with new GM accessories.
Dakota digital gauges
New 4 core radiator with dual election fans and shroud.
All new custom fuel lines, fuel tank and a GM ep381 fuel pump.
Rebuilt and "built" 4l60E transmission with Corvette servos and tons of other mods, spent over $3.5k on this transmission with it's goal to handle over 550hp++
Brand new driveshaft and u joints.
Rebuilt rearend with a trutrac posi 373 gear ratio.
Front suspension is all brand new and has new tubular control arms, new ball joints, new 2.5 inch drop spindles and new Belltech suspension with coils and their street performance shocks.
Truck is a 4/6 lowering kit.
Truck has a new away bar and also brand new steering linkages.
Went with a cpp 500 series steering gearbox, steering is amazing and feels like rack and pinion.
New GM brake calipers and brake rotors.
Rear has been c notched with the Belltech flip kit and street performance shocks.
These are actually the stock wheels from the truck but sandblasted and powder coated satin black, I added some GM dog dish caps to give the truck an aggressive stance.
Tires are nittos 275/60/15 in the rear and front is 225/70/15 in front.
Interior is all new except the dashpad. Custom made seat cost me quite a bit but really makes the interior stand out.
Truck has all new rubbers, felts and weatherstrippings.
Paint is mostly original, I did repaint the white two tone to match the entire truck. All the green has been polished by professionals and almost looks as if there is a clear coat over it.
The cons:
Body lines like door could use an adjustment.
Can has been swapped, original had rust beyond repair, found a donor truck with same color cab, can't even tell.
Hood was repainted by original owner in the 70s. It's hard to notice but the color match wasn't 100% spot on to my liking.
Fuel gauge isn't 100% calibrated. Easy fix just haven't done it.
I'm sure I'm missing quite a bit so feel free to contact me with any questions.
Selling because want to start a new project.
