I am reluctantly listing my 55 Chevy they are getting harder and harder to come by, I will list it ONCE on Ebay if it sells it sells if not I will find the room for it and keep it. My name is Phil and I am addicted to cars, my addiction to Hot Rods has run me out of space and a few will be sold off to make some room. This car was a cool 70's Hot Rod that needed a go thru so we hit it with a COOL STICK twice! The previous owner owned it for over 10 years the owner before him owned it for 20. It is by no means a drag car it is a cool cruise night 55 that has the proper late 60's East Coast Gasser vibe. Pull into a cruise night and they will drop their Ice cream to come see it. This car has not been updated NONE it is totally traditional it still runs original 55 brakes manual, manual steering and a 3 Speed Saginaw Stick. This is exactly what most all 55 Chevies were running around in the late 60's early 70's. This is a MANS CAR if you dig heated power seats. power windows, lighted cupholders, Mp3 players please LEAVE NOW. The Detroit HUSTLER runs a mild Small Block with a nice sounding cam and brand new $700 real Dougs Fenderwell Headers. The exhaust exits under the doors via Glass pack mufflers it sounds great and draws a crowd wherever it goes. The also car has a new wiring harness installed by the previous owner. The interior has super uncomfortable Gasser seats and although they look stationary mounted they are NOT they have regular slider tracks the aluminum looking outer piece slides with the seats, slick huh? it has a long grab hurst shifter, red metalflake wheel and a Motown Automotive Design Stars N Stripes Tach on the dash along with some old pinstriping. All the typical Gasser Goodies of the day. It rolls on REAL Vintage E-T Mags with big N little tires. The rear has vintage traction bars for that period correct look. The windshield and windshield gasket are NEW along with the GAS TANK and a bunch of other stuff I am forgetting. This car is a REAL 150 model it has no windshield trim. With a gloss black paint job and some Chrome Reverse it would be an easy American Graffiti clone. The body is finished in John Deere Blitz Back which is regular paint not prime. The graphics are Vinyl deigned by US at MOTOWN AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN It runs and drives like a 65 year old 55 Chevy ITS NOT A RACE CAR, ITS A MILD MOTOR DRIVER just a cruiser but it has the correct GASSER look nothing modern about it. I have only been local shows no long trips its not that kind of car. Ask me any questions you like BEFORE BIDDING at this low price (55 Chevy 4 door money) it wont last long. Stupid questions like does it have any bondo? will it make it from NC to California? can I drive it 100 miles to work every day?
