You are bidding at NO RESERVE on a gorgeous 1967 Nova TRUE SS Vin 117 with only 14,700 DOCUMENTED miles. I purchased this Nova SS from the original owner who just stored the car in a garage for over 50 years. Interesting history about this Nova SS is back in the early 70's the original owner needed the inline 6 and powerglide from it for his daily driver so once he removed the drivetrain this Nova just sat in a garage covered. Thanks to this, this Nova is completely original with the exception of the drivetrain and one repaint (original paint was just cracking from age). Back in 2018 the original owner decided to get it running again and installed a rebuilt period correct 327 and turbo 350 and then ended up selling it to me. The DMV couldnt believe when I brought them the original title from 1967 they took pictures and verified the mileage on the original title and then stamped it on the new Florida title in my name. Have copies of all the original paperwork that the owner gave me.
When I got this SS Nova the original paint was old and cracked so I had the entire car redone last year in Jet black PPG base coat, clear coat. The paint job is extremely nice and I spent a lot of money making sure it was done right. It is laser straight, no waves, no bondo, no rust, super slick, no orange peel, you could shave in the mirror finish. The panels are all original with the exception of the lower rear quarters which were welded in and done right. I had new bumpers installed front and rear and the rest of the trim was polished and is in excellent original shape with only minor wear. All of the glass is original and in excellent shape, the windshield has a very small stone chip but otherwise is in excellent shape as well. All of the windows roll up and down as they should and all of the weatherstrippings are in great shape. I took care to make sure the original parts were restored or polished and put back on the car to keep it as original as possible. Take a look at the pictures this Nova SS is a show stopper.
The interior is completely original from1967 and is in extremely well kept shape as you can see by the pictures with only minimal wear most noticeably on the drivers seat but again the wear is very minor. All of the gauges work including the idiot lights, radio, even the CLOCK. An aftermarket temperature gauge was installed. All of the lights, etc work as they should.
The underneath is super solid and the previous owner replaced the floor pans at some time but was welded in along the top and done right.
New tires were just installed on the original Nova SS 1967 Wheels and Original SS hubcaps.
The 327 as mentioned before was rebuilt before installation back in the 2018 and has around 1,000 miles on it. It is nicely equipped with the double hump 2:02 heads, mild camshaft, aluminum intake, and new 1406 edelbrock carburetor. New chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner were just installed for the shows and I also had a new high torque starter installed so its ready to go. A bigger radiator along with the appropriate suspension to handle the 327 was installed at the time of the engine installation.
As mentioned earlier the original powerglide was removed for a Turbo 350 that was also rebuilt before installation and it shifts extremely well. The rear is original but has been gone through with new seals and bearings.
Overall this is a very nice and clean time capsule of a SS Nova that has had very few changes throughout the past 50 years. It is very dependable and can be driven daily if one desires but would advise against it as the original mileage makes it truly one of a kind. I have most of the documentation from the original owner that is included along with the documented mileage. I haven't seen another Nova SS with this low of mileage for sale so it is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. Do not let this one slip past your collection you will regret it. Bid with confidence I have 100% feedback and have sold many cars over the years. Car is as advertised with a clear Florida title.
