1965 Chevrolet Impala Additional Info:
This is a driver quality survivor. Was with its original owner until 2007. As far as I can tell all paint appears to be original. Some buffing and polishing has been done to all but the roof area. There are a few door dents in the side most of them are in the rear quarters. I've only been able to find three rust holes all about the size of a pencil. One is in one of the ribs in the trunk floor (seems like an odd spot) the other two are under the molding behind the rear wheel. Overall an extremely solid body and car that has never been torn apart and patched up. Floors are all original and solid. I'm sure the carpet is original to the car. The front seat upholstery is very nice. It was either covered or replaced at some point. Door panels are very nice as well. rear package tray cardboard looks original and presentable but shows its age. The engine has been cleaned up and detailed and has a brand new dual exhaust system with a nice sound. Appears to be the original 283 and the transmission is a powerglide. The mag wheels appear to be added recently and looks like a coil may have been cut out of the front springs to give it a nice stance ( in my opinion). Overall this is nice running and driving car that you could take to the local cruise ins and walk away from with out worrying about someone scratching the paint. I would recommend having someone inspect the car before you bid. You can reach me at 317-501-5266 to arrange an inspection.
