Its skillfully configured, eye-catching appearance is plenty compelling in itself, but this 1982 Chevrolet C10 Turbo has even more to offer than that. There's a powerful, turbo-enhanced engine beneath this pickup's hood for outstanding performance while still retaining admirable street manners for frequent driving. This pickup wears dramatic black paint over its signature square-bodied form that retains a strong shine and a smooth finish and even at close range you won't detect any serious blemishes to mar... its visual impact. With new bumpers at both ends, as well as recently added contrasting molding now running the lengths of its sides, this is a vital, fresh looking classic and it's got a slightly lowered stance that pairs with its subtly repainted front grille, and a relatively badge-free appearance to confer just a touch of customization. Its exterior alignment is very much on point - there are tight, even gaps surrounding the doors and hood and the cabin meets up nicely with the bed area in back. The glass surrounding the cabin is crystal clear, with new seals and gaskets in place to keep the elements from intruding. The stock, maroon-colored interior is in pretty solid shape as it is, and some well-focused attention can really make a difference inside these doors. The bench seat at its center was reupholstered in the not so distant past and it's looking sharp, with a well-fitted vinyl cover in place and few signs of wear as it looms over black carpet that's in showroom condition. The original steering wheel still resides on its tilting column and the dash area in front of it features a collection of factory gauges that are clear and fully functional, though the dash pad above them could stand with replacing - not a particularly involved endeavor. The display entrusted with monitoring the enhanced fuel delivery system has been seamlessly mounted to the windshield and just below it you'll find a JVC head unit that not only navigates the stereo system but also offers a rear back up camera, a welcome option that wouldn't otherwise be found in a vehicle from this era. The factory air conditioning blows strong and cold through the in-dash vents to keep you and your passengers comfortable during these warmer months. In back, the bed has been well-protected by spray in bed liner - you'd be hard pressed to find so much as a blemish in this area. There's a 305 cubic inch V8 standing by in the engine compartment that has been strengthened by a variety of aftermarket add-ons, mostly notably a 70 mm turbo charger that pairs with an Edelbrock intake and Holley Sniper fuel injection system to take its output to a much higher level than ever before. The piping for the added turbo is nicely routed - clearly this was a professional-level installation that's also left the truck running with confidence-inspiring precision. The accompanying 3-speed automatic TH350 transmission has been fortified to handle such serious output and is also equipped with a 2500 rpm stall for tire smoking off the line acceleration. The Accel distributor is a nice addition to provide a bump in available spark and the Dynomax exhaust in back equips this Chevy with a great, rumbling tone as it punishes the asphalt on its set of 15" Rally wheels wrapped with Cooper Cobra tires. Power steering makes it an easy navigator while power brakes with discs up front bring it to prompt, dependable stops. Outstanding vintage curb appeal and abundant power make this 1982 Chevrolet C10 Turbo a very attractive opportunity that comes at an attainable price. Call today!
