1960 Chevrolet El Camino -- Additional Info:

The El Camino was designed to do everything well, and so this 1960 Chevrolet El Camino has been restored and updated to continue the tradition in modern times. With bright paint, a custom interior, upgraded V8 power, and much more, this ready to be enjoyed and admired to the fullest. Chevy's full-size offerings were looking long, lean, and luxurious in 1960. It only got more interesting when applying to a pickup style. The face was toned down from... the outrageous '59s, and so the bright front end has a sleeker look that's amplified further by the full-width chrome bumper. It all looks great set against a glossy application of red. As you move further down, you notice more great elements like the curved glass for both the front and rear. The tailfins are so massive and integral, that they start at the door and don't end until the middle of the tailgate â€" an impressive feat for a pickup! Running the same length as the fin is the cool jet inspired trim that's a hallmark of these premium Chevys. And while the tonneau keeps this one looking sleek, underneath is a large bed that proves these stylish El Caminos can still earn their keep. The interior has been up upgraded to offer modern comfort without losing the vintage feeling. For example, you get the classic bench seat setup, but it has been recently re-finished for plenty of comfort. This coordinates nicely with the updated door panels and plush carpeting. There are plenty of worthwhile upgrades, including a custom cup holder console, provisions for R134a air conditioning, and an AM/FM/CD stereo that has a touchscreen interface to control everything from the DVD player to Bluetooth. The cool custom flame-kissed steering wheel matches the speaker panels in the rear, and beyond the wheel is a full digital gauge package set into the original housings. Grab your sunglasses before popping the hood. With the valve covers, air topper, intake, alternator, shroud, aluminum radiator, and much more polished so brightly (and the mirror-like firewall doubling the shine) this is one impressive engine bay. But more than just look great, the 350 cubic-inch small block is a nice upgrade over anything available in 1960. It has been enhanced even further with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock Performer EPS intake. This all delivers a nice rumble from the dual exhaust that reminds you this is the muscle car of pickups. Plus, it's a fine all around driver, too, with a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and performance tires on those shining Ridler alloy wheels. Bright, distinct, and upgraded in all the right places â€" this is the shining classic you've been waiting for, so don't go another day without this El Camino in your garage. Call today!!!
