1962 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
1962 Corvette roadster with 327/340 horsepower solid lifter motor, 4 speed manual, posi track rear. The engine was dealer replaced in 1963 and has the special Chevrolet replacement block stamping. It has the original transmission and rear end. Mileage shows 39,000 but, it may accurate or it might be 139,000, it is unknown.I see no evidence of an accident and all panels are good and straight. This car has been kept in storage for 30+ years before I bought it. I put 1961 chrome headlight bezels on however, I also have the original painted bezels. There is no rust on the frame, other than minor surface discoloration. This is a very solid car. Inspections are welcome. The motor has a new Edelbrock 650 carb along with Pertronix electronic ignition distributor. Intake and exhaust manifolds are period correct. Exhaust is new with FlowMaster mufflers to look stock. New tires. The interior is upgraded with new leather seats and tuxedo olive carpet. Door panels, dash and trim are stock. Also has a new convertible top, emblems and weatherstripping. This car runs great and the old paint shines up pretty good. It has some scratches and chips from 57 years on the road but, to me it gives it character. She's a driver, not a trailer queen.I have many new parts for the car, including weatherstripping, stainless trim, front bumpers, and more.

Added more pictures of the engine compartment and engine numbers. As can be seen, the engine block has been stamped over as a dealer replacement. This matches what I was told by the previous owner. I have the chrome ignition wire covers in a box.
