The Chevelle was a mid-size model that was produced over a few generations starting in 1964. The second generation is arguably the most popular and featured a distinctly sculpted "coke bottle" body with tapered fenders and a rear quarter kick up. When people think about muscle cars the Chevelles produced from 1968-72 jump right to mind. The Chevelle 2nd generation was the GM A-body perfect size for anything you wanted to stuff under the hood to make your ride jump... off the line when commanded to do so. Their bold lines leave a lasting, timeless style of the American muscle era. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this fully restored 1970 Chevelle for your consideration. Less than 1,000 miles ago this car was just a dream spinning on a rotisserie. The car underwent a 5 year restoration where it was completely media blasted, stripped down to a fresh start, completely repainted both inside and out and then meticulously put back together. No expense was spared putting this street machine back together. Purchase of the car comes with photos throughout the restoration process. There are also receipts showing the rebuild of the engine and transmission and other various expenses for the work done. This is not a numbers matching car but certainly well worth the money. The v8 is believed to be a 1978 v8, it is unknown what it came out of. Highlights include Edelbrock polished aluminum intake, Holley 4 BBL carburetor, braided fuel lines, power brakes and power steering, MSD wires, chrome valve covers, MSD ignition, Goodyear white letter tires on 15 inch wheels, headers, center console, bucket seats, Sunpro tachometer. This car is very neat and tidy with nothing to hide.
