1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:

I wanted this car ever since I saw it in a 1970 Look magazine at 13 years of age. It was the tail fins that made me drool. In 2005, purchased my dream car from a man in Belmont, CA who purchased it in 2002 at Hot August Nights in Reno. It was semi restored in Edmonton, lberta Canada. Pretty much as you see it now but with a different engine, nd no dents in the hood (they are minor and not on the creases). In 2005, put in the Cub Barnett (the genius behind the triple belt blower drives of the late 50's early 60's) built 350 engine with the turbo-hydro 350 transmission. Added the Edelbrock intake and carb, horty headers, lowmaster exhaust, SD ignition, " drop spindles with power disc brakes, ew brake lines, ew master cylinder, dded an electric brake lock system, nd much more totaling over $ 6,000. I have receipts and account balances to back this. I threw in my labor of love and did not pay myself. The next big project was the power steering with tilt wheel, Christmas gift installed by a pro auto technician. Oh what a wonderful car this has been. I actually got to sneak into the Santa Cruz Drive-In on the last weekend they were open, nd got busted in the end for not buying a ticket. Did I watch "Chainsaw 4", O. . .I did like everyone else did in the back seat. . .I wanted the full experience. You may ask why am I selling it? I have moved onto restoring another car, he 57 sits on the lift in a heated garage 24/7, t is driven less that 20 miles a year, want a Tesla, nd it's time for someone else's dream to come true. Here comes the kicker, am female and did a lot of the work myself with the support of a friend. It was very rewarding and a tremendous learning experience. I really want someone else to continue the needed restoration, xcitement and satisfaction I had. This is a great Father / Son / Daughter / Wife or whoever project you will have.
