1978 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
First and foremost let me apologize for the pictures in the rain, the weather has been very miserable here in Northern California, but we need it.
Now, Selling No Reserve is a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette L82. I bought the car about 7 months ago with the intent to fully restore it and it’s just not happening. I own a restaurant and work full time on top of going to college, so unfortunately I won’t be able to restore this amazing car. It runs and drives good but has been sitting for quite some time and the battery has died. The vette is not anywhere near showroom condition, it is a unrestored 41 year old car so please keep that in mind before placing a bid. I bought some emblems and new weatherstripping for it which I will include in the sale for free. Mechanically it is good but it has its share of leaks, I believe the oil pan has a slight leak also the coolant lines that go from the transmission to the radiator are going to need to be replaced. The body is very straight but its going to need typical corvette fiberglass and paint work because of chips and scratches. The color is the factory Mahogany with saffron leather interior. Glass is all good, front windshield has a slight crack at the lower bottom driver side. Tires are at about 75%. Headlights, taillights, power windows/locks and signals all work, t-tops surprisingly do not leak. Brakes are great, stops on a dime. This L82 is a good candidate for a driver that you could slowly restore. I would however go through everything before attempting to do so. I’ve tried to describe the car the best I could, if you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me anytime. If I could think of anything else I will add it to the description. The auction is no reserve so whatever the highest bid at the end of the auction is what you will pay. Thanks for looking and Goodluck!
