This wonderful “five window” 1948 Chevrolet 3100-based custom pickup is known as “The Dinosaur”. This 1948 Chevy five-window is a cool as they come, with a frame-off restoration with the frame and undercarriage all painted separately. The exterior has a custom patina paint job and the black interior retains the original paint color. The chassis is a modern S-10 unit with a four-link rear suspension. Abundant power for this cool cruiser is provided by a 350 cubic-inch V-8 mated to a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 three-speed automatic transmission. Additional highlights include newer interior and headliner, newer paint, newer wooden cargobed panels, a newer wiring harness, newer windows, newer rubber seals and bushings, newer tires, a newer brake system, and newer fuel lines. The build was completed towards the end of 2016.
