I have owed this blazer for many years and have put a substantial amount of money into it (over $12K) It is built with wheeling in mind. As such it has 37" Humvee tires and 8 bolt wheels. The rear axle was swapped for a more heavy duty 3/4 ton GM corporate full float. It has a Yukon full time rear locker. The front axle is still 1/2 ton but is 8 bolt as well.
The rear has a shackle flip from ORD.
Half doors are ORD as well.
Transmission is a manual 3 speed with a high and low first gear that will climb anything.
The motor was rebuilt about 1,000 miles ago and turns over right away. The motor hasanRVcam that ups the horse power. I scrapped the quadrajet for a FIT fuel injection system that runs flawlessly and is the 600HP model.
New(er) battery.
The exhaust system is a dual flowjet knock off that adds more horse power.
Extended brake lines
New 2 wheel drive power steering box and upgraded DOM drag link and tie rid high steer setup.
Ofcourse I havemost all of thestock parts that came off the truck (fiberglass top, tailgate and doors).
Let meknow if you have any questions. I have a videoon youtubewheeling here...
