1971 Chevrolet Blazer Additional Info:
For sale is a 1971 K5 Blazer CST. Blazer was sitting in a shed for about 14 years. the clear is peeling off. it seemed it was painted and body work was done around that time. The body is in really good shape for its year. I found some small rust on driver floor board nothing major like these years have issues with. Looks like water was seeping in and the carpet was keeping moisture. Back carpet looks good for its age, front carpet is faded. two bucket swivel seats up front, no back seat. Has a good roll bar. The top is a double wall top, back hatch is in excellent condition and closes and opens great. Has 3 sun roofs on top. This is an AC blazer but does not work. needs compressor and other things, blower motor works good all 3 speeds. The motor is a 350, 400 tranny, 205 transfer case,4x4 works and engages. Has floor shifter. original shifter in columm still there. Rear end is posi. 3/4 ton axles (not original). I rebuilt holley double pumper with newcarb kit, changed plugs and cleaned out gas tank. runs good now. Has rust bubbles on both corner of doors. has big heavy duty winch up front, Has 6" lift kit with 35x12.50x16.5 Bf Goodrich Mud terrain tires with alcoa aluminum wheels. Has a lot of auxilary buttons on floor board panel, (not sure what they do) has cv radio, side steps, dummy spot lights, cassette pull out deck. It looks like this blazer was bad ass in the late 90s .It need some love to come out again. Not to much body work or interior work. good foundation. This is a good Blazer to build your own style and not have to pay 20K or more for it. My plans where to do some minor work but now i have some custody battle lawyer fees i need to pay. (family first) I have restored one and they are not that expensive to fix and look awesome. You can find parts everywhere on web. I would hate to keep and not do anything with it like all the people that have nice vehicles sitting and going to waste when they can restore and cruise and enjoy these great american classic vehicles. I have a clean clear title. Blazer is in Las Cruces NM 88007. My name is Rick. call or text (575) 644-2036 on Questions or if need specific area pictures. I have a shipping friend that i can get qoute if intrested in purchasing. just need city, state, zip code. Thank you and God Bless.
